Community Events: Wine Tasting Cruise

Every May (third Saturday) Groveland looks forward to the unique STCHS Wine Tasting Cruise (WTC). Generous homeowners from Pine Mountain Lake open their homes for visitors who arrive by boat driven by volunteer pilots. On the welcoming docks WTC guests can enjoy delicious snacks and taste fine wines donated by local wineries. It is a unique opportunity to enjoy the water of PML - usually on a warm and sunny spring day. 

It's a Groveland tradition! STCHS presents the Labor Day Country BBQ with fun and excitement for the entire family. Happening at the PML Stables on Labor Day Sunday, from 4 until 7 p.m. Every year our expert chefs prepare the grill to perfection and serve up a healthy helping of barbecue and extras. There are hot dogs for the kids. The kids (of all ages) can enjoy a watermelon eating contest as well as friendly tug of war. For adults there is a good chance to relax during the holiday weekend and - for those with a little more energy - some toe-tapping music to dance to!
