In recent years the HRC has collaborated more closely with the well-known Internet genealogy organization, Ancestry.com. New research by HRC volunteers is entered directly to www.ancestry.com and users can more easily access their desired information through its web interface. The database is routinely updated.
HRC volunteers produced a well-researched and documented earlier version of the database called “We Lived on the Hill.” It was developed for the Internet, when the Internet was in its infancy. its address (URL) is www.stchsgenealogy.com.
Records there are organized and accessed by family surname via a master index. Information may also include the relevant sources, such as Census data and newspaper obituaries. Although the information is useful for many, it is no longer being updated or maintained and some information may not longer be accurate.
