STCHS Membership

Interested individuals can become members of STCHS and demonstrate their support for the organization. There are now roughly 200 members of the Society, residing primarily in the Groveland and Big Oak Flat area. 

Being a STCHS member offers a variety of benefits:

• Awareness of programs of local history interest, such as STCHS Speakers Bureau talks
• Receipt of the regular STCHS newsletter with news of local importance
• Access to the History Resources Center
• Learning opportunities
• Demonstration of support for preserving and caring for local history

There are five (5) different types of STCHS Membership with different benefits:

• Member ($25) – Membership card and Quarterly Newsletter
• Supporter ($100) – Same as Member. plus 10% discount 
• Sponsor ($250) – Same as Supporter, plus local area print (by Irene Clark)
• Benefactor ($500) - Same as Sponsor, plus additional 5% discount.
• Patron ($1000) – All benefits, plus name recognition on Donor plaque in Museum
